About Me

Mindfulness became important to me during a time of stress and change. It helped me feel more grounded, more accepting of myself, and find calm and confidence where before I might have turned to self-blame or withdrawal. Over time, it has become more than a practice — it is an approach to life that continues to support me day by day.

I started South Coast Mindfulness to share this with others, drawing on my own experiences and the clarity and steadiness mindfulness has given me. My teaching style is calm and compassionate, and I try to make mindfulness feel approachable — something that can be woven into ordinary life, rather than something distant or difficult. While I often guide practical exercises, these are always offered within the wider container of mindfulness as an ancient practice, inspired by its Buddhist roots.

I’m originally from Finland and now live in Southsea with my partner and our three children. Both my Nordic roots and the rhythm of family life continue to shape how I practise and how I teach.
