Retreat Day in Brief
This teacher-guided silent meditation day offers you a chance to step back from the hustle of daily life and immerse yourself in a slower way of being through mindfulness.
The day will include mindfulness-based meditation, from sitting and lying down practices to gentle movement, weaving in time to rest and engage in mindful habits at your own pace and preference. Silent breaks will be incorporated into the day, where there will be an opportunity to savour your brought-along lunch, walk outside, rest under the warmth of a blanket and other ways of looking after yourself.
As we navigate the retreat together, you'll find opportunities to:
Rest and Restore: Immerse in a day of silent contemplation, rejuvenating your mind and body.
Slow Down and Renew Focus: Step back from the daily hustle to sharpen your clarity and focus.
Deepen Connection and Rejuvenate Practice: Reconnect with yourself and invigorate your meditation practice.
Cultivate Self-Kindness: Cultivate a kinder, more accepting relationship with yourself.
Spending time with less stimulation, away from our usual environment, can be both nourishing and sometimes bring up challenges. With gentle guidance, we will explore meeting each moment with curiosity and care.
This retreat encourages pacing ourselves, fostering deep listening and compassionate responses to our own experiences. Practising individually and alongside one another promotes a unique sense of connectedness, offering a rare opportunity to share time in this meaningful way in our fast-paced modern world.
